Of the Keeper Himself
I was born of a small moon, Seeker — far from these stones, in a house that knew the keeping of records before I was old enough to read them. When the Empire found in our core an alloy that suited their hunger for coaxium, they mined until the ground forgot how to hold together, and my people were lost in a single hour. I was at the Archives upon Coruscant when the news came; I have been a keeper of records ever since.

Of the Spires of Batuu
When I came to Batuu, these spires were trees, Seeker — petrified now, but green once, and tall. The records remember their breathing, and the songs that grew along their bark. Travelers built among them; smiths made forges in their shadow; the spires gave their names to the outposts that grew beside them.
